Staff News

A very warm welcome is extended to 'old' staff as they return from their holidays and to new staff arriving in Dubai to take up their posts at SIS Mirdif. We are looking forward to an exciting and successful year ahead.

Principal, Star International Mirdif

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to SIS Mirdif. Our community is committed to the provision of the high quality education which will bring your child the success, fullfillment and educational fun that they deserve.

Debbie Trivett

We are committed to rigorous educational development and improvement, driven by enthusiastic, knowledgeable and effective leadership at every level.
There is a firm commitment to mutual accountability underpinned by the involvement of each and every team member in the decision making process. The continued success enjoyed by SIS Mirdif is based upon a combination of supportive relationships, constructive criticism and respect of each other's contribution and expertise.

Through understanding the needs of the whole child a rich and broad balanced curriculum is firmly founded in the social and moral values of honesty, courage and endeavour. In this way a love of learning is nurtured which will serve a child well, way beyond their initial years in school.
Good home-school relationships are of great importance and I am keen to encourage positive sharing of information and experience for the benefit of all.
If you would like further information or assistance regarding any aspect of school life I am always delighted to hear from you.

Best wishes
