PTFA Newsletter October 2012

The next big event for the PTFA is the organisation of the National Day Celebrations on 29^th November.

If you have any toys, books, uniform etc that you would like to donate for the bric-a-brac / second hand uniform stall, please hand these items in to either the Pegasus or Phoenix Receptions by November 22^nd 2012.

Come along to our next meeting which will be held in the Pegasus Staffroom at 8.10am on Tuesday, 20^th November when we will be finalising arrangements for the National Day celebrations.

Staff News

A very warm welcome is extended to 'old' staff as they return from their holidays and to new staff arriving in Dubai to take up their posts at SIS Mirdif. We are looking forward to an exciting and successful year ahead.

Further Requirements

A relevant teaching qualification: minimum of a BEd or BA/BSc + PGCE/QTS
A minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience preferred but not essential for all teaching positions
Previous Leadership experience desirable for candidates applying for Head of KS2
A good working knowledge of the latest UK practice from either the UK or a British Curriculum school overseas

Terms and conditions

Minimum 2 year contract
Remuneration package including a competitive tax free salary, accommodation allowance or furnished one bedroom apartment, health insurance, transportation and flight allowance and end of contract gratuity.
